A gran has been banned from every football ground in England and Wales after she was convicted of hitting a fellow Leicester City fan.
Diane McGregor (52) was made the subject of a three-year banning order after tempers flared while City were losing to arch rivals Nottingham Forest.
Harborough magistrates heard that McGregor got upset when fellow season-ticket holder John Hill stood up towards the end of the game at the Walkers Stadium in March last year complaining about how bad City were playing.
She clipped him round the ear with her programme and then punched him twice in the neck.
Mr Hill, 36, of Deepdale, Crown Hills, Leicester, told the court: "She told me to "eff off" and I said the same to her. She then hit me on the head with the programme twice.
"I was then punched on the back of my head and neck."
He said he developed severe headaches later in the evening and went to Leicester Royal Infirmary the next day for a check-up.
McGregor was ejected from the game by steward Paul Masters.
He told the court: "I saw her swing her arm and it appeared that she had a rolled-up piece of paper in her hand."
Pc Andrew Cox, who was on crowd control said that he saw a woman aim a blow at the victim.
McGregor, of Capell Gardens, Corby, who has supported City for 35 years, denied assaulting Hill on March 5.
She told the court she was registered disabled and suffered from agoraphobia and had to take Valium before going out in public.
She said: "He was standing up offering his season ticket for £50 and said he was not going to watch City again.
"I told him as a City fan he should put up with the bad as well as the good.
"He told me that I was an effing disabled old cow so I hit him twice with my programme.
"I did not punch him. I am registered disabled and at the time I was only eight stone." Her husband, Robert McGregor, said his wife did not punch Mr Hill.
But magistrates found McGregor not only hit the victim with her programme but also punched him in the neck and head.
Magistrate John Cameron said: "We find the assault proved and we are obliged to place a three-year banning order on you."
Under the order, she cannot attend any official football match in England and Wales for three years.
When English teams are playing abroad she must surrender her passport.
She was also given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay Mr Hill £50 compensation. She was also ordered to pay £364 court costs.
After the hearing she said: "I suffer from agoraphobia and going to the football is my only excuse to get out of the house. I have supported City for 35 years and went with them to Madrid."
