could it have been a look alike and was taking the piss out of you....:102:

Well the three blokes with me and the rather gimpish West Brom fan (heart was in the right place) were all cleverly duped by this mysterious imposter then.

Maybe it's the imposter who's buying us. He certainly had that Serbian accent off to a tee.

I think some are sceptical about this "meeting" you had. ;)

I dont disbelieve him at all. I have seen a lot of well known people on trains. I do know he was going to the Colchester game and also he will be at the Fulham game.....

I'm less so than I was, as it's been explained that he didn't take the train to Colchester Town station - which I'd assumed everyone going to the match by train would do. That assumption was based on crap information though.

The Football grounds website said the main Colchester station was too far to walk, but Colchester Town station was only 10 minutes walk from the ground.
I knew they were talking bollocks about the 10 minutes walk thing, it's more like half an hour at average walking speed. I didn't realise they were also talking bollocks about the other station though, it's only around half a mile further from the ground, so it doesn't seem worth waiting for another train to save half a mile walking.

to save a half mile walk it is.......

Please everyone believe me. This 32 year old grown man's morbid existance is only given meaning by being believed on football forums.

Sob. Me no loved no more.

Ahh. Forum hugs are almost as good as the real thing. I'll be buying an island in that virtual world knackers next.

Did you tell him about TalkingBalls? :102: :102:

Some people just can't accept the fact the MM is buying us, it's easier for some folk to blank him out altogether and pretend he doesn't exist.

I believe you Treebeard
