Does anyone know of a way to make a link open a new window but only show a certain portion of it?

For example, a link that would open talkingballs but only show the latest threads section?

The only parameters I can find are the offset of where the window should pop up on the screen but I can't find anything on how to force only a portion of a window to open.

Hope someone can help.

Pfft, pretty impossible mate unless you're going to get into using javascript to fish specific bits out of the code....but that's complicated ad very fiddly. Is there no way of putting the Latest Threads bit in a separate file? Seems the most logical way of doing it?

Not really - I'm just trying to get a quick and dirty cludge in place for something and thought this would be possible but maybe not. Shame.

well if it is possible, how would it work?

I cannot imagine a time when you would do this that wouldn't annoy the **** out of the end user?
