Expensive. Baseball jersey retail between 100 and 150 dollars. Replica shirts prices are so different pending the region. Over here £40, in Europe you are looking at 70 euros for a new shirt whilst in Asia you can get the real thing for not much at all.

Quite a lot of non-league clubs do. This guy at Oxford City is baffling. Apparently the ground is no more than a pitch and a social club. The club have done well to be at their current level.

Replica shirt prices over here are ****ing insane. Currently a home Chicago Fire jersey is $109.99 from the official club shop. I don't understand how that makes economic sense. For all it's growth, football is still a minority sport in America. Here in Chicago it barely registers a mention or a column inch in the sports papers. Surely it would make more sense to price them much lower and in theory at least then sell more of them and gain greater exposure.

You can pay over $200 For a Cubs baseball jersey if you want a name and number on it. Whilst that is still vastly overpriced at least baseball clubs and ameican football/hockey/basketball teams have a very wide, long established, dedicated fan base who will pay that much.
