At least Ade put some effort into his game, just not skillful enough. Unlike W?se :!: :!: :!: He created more grief than any other of P.Taylors signings.

Going back to the thread, It seems that alot of us have plumped for Wise. I intially thought the majority would go for Akinbiyi because of his transfer fee and return. At least with the other 3 (not Matt Jones) mentioned, they tried there best but were just not good enough.

Can you tell me what Matt Jones has done wrong. Everyone seems to be against the poor lad, he has been injured for a heck of a long time and what do you expect him to do about that!!! And Scowy when you suggested Matt Jones hasnt tried i think you will find your wrong, he plays with passion.

They are all fcukin shit except Matt Jones who I believe could be a good footballer, he was very good at Leeds and there was talk Man Utd wanted him. We signed him, which at first I thought was a quality signing and he played some decent games for us. Then came the slide in form from the whole team and Taylor's demise, the rest is history has Jones has been injured for 95% of the time since then, I agree he probably hasn't been pulling his weight but some players do that. Look at Viduka at Leeds, and several other players in years gone by at other clubs, but you can't take away the fact that on his day he's a good player.
Ade Akinbiyi is the worst player by far, mainly because of the £5 million we spent on him and he didn't ever have a good game for us, there was no sign of any attributes that make him a good footballer and the pleasing thing to see is that every club he has been to since he has played fcukin crap for too. Wise was a wanker, but you can't argue that he has been a quality player all his career except for when he played for Leicester, he was playing in a team that was destined for relegation and didn't shine through at all. Then he did a terrible thing and lamped Davidson and has rightly paid the price. Junior Lewis has been a shocker too, but he was signed for next to nothing and thankgod hasn't played that many times for us since Taylor fcuked off. Benjamin has been dodgy too, but he went up in my estimations after his goal flurry near the end of last season. Lee Marshall is on par with Akinbiyi, fcukin disgraceful player! never, ever had a half decent game for us and I can't believe West Brom bought him, unbelievable really.
