Sod Sven, I want Bruno and Stowell for manager after those interviews, there really isn't much love to Sousa amongst the players is there?!

So... we get nothing. Good.

The interview was being done by Radio Humberside, and they just talked to him about their game today and then ran out of time

Edit - It was a Radio Humberside interview, might continue on there after 6 - but I doubt it from what seems to be on the schedule. Dagnall says it will be on the Football forum on Monday

Well, I do have respect for Pearson.

Pearson says he saw the irony in Sousa's sacking and the quick appointment of Eriksson.

New owners were being showed around whilst he was on holiday, without him knowing.

Paulo Sousa was at both play-off games.

LCFC allowed Hull to speak to him.

Pearson didn't get on with the Chief Executive.

Ultimately this led Pearson to resign.

unless a compromise agreement was involved, then we wont...

I dunno. I think that NP was too much of a gemtleman to say owt whilst Sousa was manager cos it would look like sour grapes, but now he's got the boot he might well feel vindicated in saying why he felt he had to leave.(And feeling slightly smug despite being in a job which might be seen as just as crap!)

Plus with MM saying in his bbc interview thingy yesterday how he tried to so everything to keep him- I would think NP might want to point out that oooh hang on!!! He's on the radio!

Just said he made the decision to leave but would've stayed IF the club had made any inclination or effort to stay, that he was on holiday when the new owners were here being shown around properlyand he wasn't told anything about what was going on, that he had a very poor relationship with the CE
That he knew Sousa was at both play-off games and that it certainly 'appears' as though it had all been organised without any regard for his opinion.

There was more than that but I'm trying to remember the best bits!!
He was very guarded with his words, obviously trying not to be too offensive towards MM and the new owners but it was very clear he thought he was being forced out.

So he wasn't pushed, he quit. Simple.

thanks BF for the update :)

A lesson from history: nothing is simple about events whether as earth shattering as a war or as trivial (?) as a football club changing their manager.

Whenever anyone uses the word "simple" they do not understand the situation.

Well that is all very interesting but personally I couldn't give a shit why he left. Fact is, he is no longer at our club and all I am interested in, is how we are doing. Thanks Nigel but you are old news. Sven Sven Sven Goran Eriksson!
