Marcelo Bielsa ... The latest name to climb on board and, apparently, the reason why a MON announcement was scrapped last week. ...

Really? Wow.

I was shocked and appalled that West Ham should have ignored him and gone for Bilic instead. It would be simply amazing if we could get him, if only because of the masses of footballing hipsters who would suddenly be beating down our doors for tickets.

Indeed he would make us very fashionable.

Ticks a lot of the boxes. If they genuinely end up with a choice between the three being touted they'll have done pretty well in my opinion. Wouldn't let any of them clean Inces boots, mind you.

Considering he's said to have an order of nuns pray for his teams, I'd think he'd fulfill any new 'morality' code for the job...

Depends how you define 'morality' I suppose. I'd certainly find it morally offensive if a representative of our club invited minions from a global criminal organisation (specialising in genocide, child rape and widespread systematic exploitation of poor people) to perform any duties, official or otherwise. But that's just me.

Indeed. Can you imagine a Leicester side playing with enganches in formations so experimental they become aware of their own existence and start having existential crises that they're only systematic, geometric standing points and instead renounce the shackles of mathematics and thoroughgoing systemics of human moveableness and instead create a footballing artistic movement of freedom-facilitated-flowing-homosapic-pulchritude?

Hyper-post-post-modern football imo.

You are completely right, because that is such an accurate assessment of the Catholic Church.

Why so?

It just sounds like our owners are out there sounding out / considering / talking to a variety of the best possible coaches we could attract. That's exactly what I want them to be doing.

I'd like to agree with you as to what's happening, but I sense it's the complete opposite. We're a little over 3 weeks from the start of the season and it's highly likely that the entire management team will change. This cannot be healthy for us. It's been 2 weeks since NP was sacked and it's evident there was or probably still is no plan in place to replace him. There has literally been a different name linked everyday. Ok the club can't stop the speculation, but given there has been no replacement, the speculation seems to confirm that we're doing the complete opposite to what you're suggesting.

The club can't do anything to prevent speculation aside hiring a manager. I hope they don't hire a man simply on the basis that the speculation is intense and the season's about to start.

We need a very good appointment to move forwards and a good appointment will be able to quickly get to work. Kinda wish it was Cambiasso but I don't think that's going to happen.

Definitely not, Cambiasso's agent confirmed he only wants to play at present. Out of all the managers linked I think the one I'd most like to see here is Jurgen Klopp. I can't see the owners wanting to gamble on a manager that hasn't proven themselves to be a decent manager already. I don't know if it's true that he told the Irish FA that he didn't want to come here but to my mind MON would be fantastic to have back, it could almost be like a belated unfinished business scenario.

It's not just you.

And ba-na-na.

Whatever happens, whoever comes in, this is ****ing shit preparation, not one other club is going through similar.

Shit
