As I understand it, if a player does not request a transfer but is offered for sale, they are entitled to a loyalty bonus if they agree to the sale.

I can't think of many scenarios where that wouldn't have already become due to Peltier, if he was entitled to one.

Meanwhile, Lee Peltier has been left in limbo after City rejected offers from Leeds and Huddersfield for the full-back.

Good - unfortunately for Pelts he was just one of many bad buys last season - simply not good enough.

I tend to agree with you, but the purchase at the time made sense, with him coming from a pretty good Huddersfield team. The hope was that he would kick on from that, but for whatever reasons he didn't.
