Re: Monday's moan in

MM just will not talk about players at all.

passes it over to NP ever time

Probably because of the shit that gets thrown his way even when people have no evidence.

Re: Monday's moan in

He was on Radio 2 this evening, about 6.30ish I guess, promoting his new book of Hollowayisms.
He said he'd spent last Saturday afternoon shopping in Morrisons with his wife having just moved house away from Loughborough.

He should get the Leeds job. Would make our lives easier...

What was the Overview of the moan/phone in? points made from NP and MM

Not gonna say he is a donkey though, as it affects his price in the transfer market. Also, affects his confidence too if he wants him to stay.

:icon_eek:

surely NP must realise Howard doesnt do much.

Last season, agreed he didn't, but I thought on Saturday he had a much better game, & linked up well with Matty.

I know one swallow doesn't make a summer, and hopefully it wasn't just a lucky sighting, but if NP is giving SH a second chance, I do believe the fans should as well.

Am i the only person that thinks howard played well? It's quite clear who will be the victim of the boos this year.

Nope, I agree, I thought Howard linked up well with Matty and they looked like a useful partnership.

Nope he had a good hame on Saturday, unfortunately for some he is too far gone to see this. When I went to the Brum friendly there were some people behind me shouting abuse at hime just after kickoff, without even seeing him kick a ball. Shame really.

I just don't get this constant abuse and booing. Do people really think it is going to help the player or team to do better?
If you got nothing but abuse at work would you perform better?

I know people are going to come back and say that, if they earned what footballers earn......, or that it would make them find another job....

but on the match day, during the game, who does it help?

I went to watch Bristol City last year with a friend, sitting with their fans in the away end. I was really struck by how much they supported and cheered their team on, even when they weren't playing well, whereas at almost every game I'd been to at LCFC over the past few years people (ok some people) only seemed happy when they were moaning and booing, even on the rare occassions when we were winning.
