I thought the same on McLean.
Agree on Lambert but I think Ward might be more within our price range.
And yes, really. If Mattock stays past January, I'll be amazed. We'll almost certainly need a new left back, if not in January then definitely at the end of the season when Powell gets his bus pass. At 24, Lewington's played over 250 first team games and has been a regular in a relatively successful side the past two seasons. I don't see a problem with him.

He did the round sum of feck all when we played them, but he can obviously score goals so he's probably just a bigger version of Fryatt.
Of the lads in this league I wouldn't mind seeing come in there's Simon Cox of Swindon and Craig Mackail-Smith of Peterborough, both look like classey little strikers, and Cureton aint a bad shout from earlier in the thread.
