So I'm not sure its that the club turns them into bad players, I think, on the whole, they are bad players when they get here.

I think the problem lies within the club.
Too many people come along and rattle on about it being a Prem club.
The fact is it's not and has not been for 4 seasons, I could argue for 6 seasons and but for the efforts in the final few months of that season. I would argue this because we weren't even a Prem club when in the Prem. Like Derby at the moment.
We need to go back to the 90's for it to be true. We've never been a worthy Prem side since we moved to the new stadium. For one it should have a proper football name - forget the Walkers rubbish - It should have geographic name. Bede Island or Filbert Way.
The club appears too complacent and too interested in profit - a bit like Leeds and Forest and look what happened to them.
We need to realise that we need to earn the right to be a Prem club, we are not. I think the football we played under Rob Kelly was better than anything during MM's rein - unbelievable but true:icon_conf.
I'm also getting fed up of the - get behind the lads, come on be the twelfth man,don't boo, don't upset anyone.
We should - This is our football club, not MM's, not AB's and quite frankly the greed of the board of directors starting wth the flotation to MM's approach has sullied and tarnished the club and it continues to do so. The Mockery reads like they are part of the conspiracy we need honesty - that is we are poor - players need to work harder, the club needs to work harder, the mockery needs to appear to be indepedent - BA's review of the West Brom game was laughable - if WBA had won 5 -0 I think we would have been lucky it was not ten, close my arse Bill

I just think we need a cathartic moment, ten minutes in the confessional, a true assessment of what is going on.

I think IH may be the person to do it, he has at least had the cojones to say we are poor.

The OS spins everything and I can play naive for a while but not too long.
For example the OS failed to report that all the sick kids in the Royal chanted "Who are ya, who are ya" when the players went in on Monday and that was just because their requests to be sent home early were refused.:icon_bigg

Billy Liar has had a reputation for going along with the club POV for years. I heard ages ago that if he didn't the Mockery would be banned from having access and press conferences and the like. Not sure how true that is/was.
