Are you using Opera Mini?

It routes all data through a proxy, so it's the proxy's IP address that would have been used.

It tells me I am in Crawley and I am in Aylestone Village. Spion you are right about Virgin Media. I don't want to be in Crawley which is a dreadful place - the least they could have done is put me in Rome or Vienna.

No place like home, only it wil not tell me where I am, other than the UK, haven't got a map to hand to check the lattitude and longtitude thats given. I'm in Dumfries, just north of Jeff, it clearly doesn't travel well.

I read this thread last night and saw you wanted emigrants to check but had IP hiding software on so it just said UK.

Tried it today and it is pretty spot on for Sydney, although next suburb over which I guess is where the exchange is.
