Directions & Parking

Approx 240 miles - 4 ½ Hours

M69 to Junction 2 > M6 to Junction 4 > M42 to Junction 1 > M5 to Junction 31 > Join A38 into Plymouth.

On entering Plymouth, turn left onto the A386 (towards Plymouth). When this road splits into two, keep on the left hand side (sign posted Plymouth) and after about a mile you will see the ground on your left. The ground is well signposted 'Plymouth Argyle Home Park' on the way into Plymouth.

There is quite a large car park at the ground, which is free. It is operated on a 'first in before the game, first out after the game basis'. If you are last in, then on average it takes around half an hour to clear. The car park is normally full by 2.30pm on matchdays. There is some street parking if you drive past the ground, heading away from the city centre.

Trains

The standard 'Saver Return' is £92.50.

The cheapest ticket I can find currently available is £72.90 (This goes the same way as the ticket above)

You would need a CDR from Leicester > Birmingham = £7.90
You would need a Value Advance 1st Class single in each direction from Birmingham > Plymouth = £32.50 each

Times:
Leic 6.47am Arrive Birm 7.46am
Birm 8.10am Arrive Plym 11.51am

Plym 17.25pm Arrive Birm 20.57pm
Birm 21.15pm Arrive Leic 22.11pm

If anyone is looking to stop over, PM me, and I will see what cheap hotels I can find.

Pubs

The Pennycomequick (Central Park Avenue, Plymouth, PL4 6NR) seems the ideal choice for people walking from the Train station.

Will be travelling down from Paddington, leave 10.05, in just after 13.00 - one of the best journeys of the season IMO.

I wonder of Martin Allen is going to bother going to this one?
