Re: Pi$$ off you tw@t

Thought this was going to be a thread about Heineken Matt

What a let down........

I just read what he's been saying, he's definitely not bitter at all about Holloway leaving..:icon_roll

Absolutely pathetic, firstly, he's the bloody chairman he can decide what clauses to put in contracts and all that, rather than do bugger all and blame someone else when everything goes tits up.

Secondly, I wish they'd just let it go, theyre not exactly covering themselves in glory, especially this week.

'"I know some people will think that the timing of this is not the best, seeing as we play Leicester at the weekend, but these things have been on my mind for some time now.'

Ohh yes, completely unrelated that you just happen to say this a couple of days before he comes back.

Stupid ****.

I hope you all let him know it on Saturday as well.

Inbred wanker.

Just re-read this - what an absolute fudge packer, seriously, this guy needs a lesson. Trying to stir things up like this is really irresponsible. Ban him from the ground Milan.

Official Statement

Posted on: Wed 06 Feb 2008
Leicester City Chairman Milan Mandaric has responded to statements released by Plymouth Argyle Chairman Paul Stapleton on the club's Official Website this afternoon (Wednesday).

In those statements, Stapleton talks about the departure of several key players during the January transfer window and in the process openly criticises Foxes boss Ian Holloway, who left the club back in November after 17 successful months at Home Park.

Mandaric said: "I am saddened and disappointed by Paul Stapleton's comments and the timing of them just three days before our crucial game against Plymouth at the Walkers Stadium.

"One thing their Chairman fails to mention is the amount of quality players Ollie brought to Home Park and the team he built under difficult circumstances and financial constraints.

"Surely Ollie deserves some recognition and praise for his efforts. But Plymouth's loss is Leicester City's gain.

"I am delighted Ollie is with us and the important thing is that we put these mind games to one side and concentrate on picking up three points on Saturday with the help of our players and supporters.

"In the short couple of meetings I've had with Paul, he has always conducted himself in a professional manner but after reading these statements, all I can say is that it's not all about their Chairman crying all the way to the bank."

Top bombing Milan :038::038::038::038:

Surely, even the most dewy-eyed Plymouth fan can see through this one: the chairman has trousered £5 mill, or so and points the finger at the departed manager! That's as daft as if Milan were to blame MA2 for all those crazy signings in the summer!!

Well done Mandy.

Should hopefully spur the team on just a little more on Saturday.

This is turning into a game of medium importance to us now, i dred to think what it's like down in Plymouth.

Dark and windy probably, perhaps a little rain coming in from the sea.

At the end of the day this is football and the Plymouth fans and the club as a whole need to get a grip.

It happens to every club at some point, it happened to us with O'Neil (eventually), Little, McGhee and Megson (granted we didnt want him).

Tough shit get over it. Small fish get eaten by bigger fish and it goes up the chain. Our manager will leave if a prem club comes in end of story.

**** off and get over yourselves.
