all i was saying is if we are 6 points off play offs with 15 matches or so to go in the January transfer window and we do get new investors, then we can have a few additional signings if we do get some transfer £££ from the new investors (speaking hypothetically here) then why cant we challenge for play offs? Like i said before i don't think we can get play-offs this season but you never know :102:

Fair enough. But I am not very optimistic about getting that change....too many weasels are trying to undermine change.

Of course, if I'm wrong - and I want to be wrong - and if that take over and injection of funds comes in - then things could be different. However, I would have thought that it would take a bit of time to turn things round, strengthen the football management as well as bring in new players and 2007/8 would look a more likely bet. That said, the financial benefits of an unlikely instant promotion would be massive even if we had to accept that the re-building process entailed the short term set back of equally instant relegation.
