Agree with this, was discussing the exact point with a family member this morning. If Newcastle are still in the mix at that point, it's potentially an even harder game for Spurs than we have on that final day.
Chelsea will not beat us if we need to win to be guaranteed Champions above Spurs.

I still do not think Spurs will take 12 points from their remaining 4 games. They have only just got to 2 points per game over 34 games.

I think both us and them will win the next game then lose the one after but win the penultimate game.

I actually do think Spurs will win the remaining games.

I wonder just how vital those Mahrez penalty misses might become

If you ever reach a point where you fail to understand plain English, go and get some lessons.

How have I misunderstood the warning signs there? If you are saying that Mahrez' penalty misses 'might become vital', then by definition you have to be concerned that they will cost us the title.

There is a difference between being concerned and apportioning blame.

Would Spirs swap places with us?

Yes, thought so.

We are 2 points worse off than we were a week ago (7 now 5).

As Claudio has repeatedly said, take each game and scenario as it comes. Forget everything other than Swansea on Sunday. Win that and then the gap is 8 points, pressure back on Spurs.

Both teams win and the gap is still 5 points BUT with three games left.

We are away to Man U and Spurs are away to Chelsea. We both have equal opportunity of what points we can achieve in our respective games, I would say our task is slightly easier than theirs.

Look at it again after that. We will still be top with two games to go.

If we win 2 more games, hopefully Swansea and Everton, Spurs have to win all their games to beat us to the title.

Which, given the way they are playing at the moment, they could quite easily do.

If we win 2 more games and draw the other 2, Spurs can win all their games and still not catch us.
