I don't see why anyone would blame anything other than ticket prices. Football ticket pricing is ridiculously disproportionate.

It opens up with Chelsea. Their lowest gate, taking in mind how expensive it was back then to watch a game, was 7,808!

Incidentally, they have a crap Leicester team. 2001-2 season. When a 5 - 0 drubbing by Bolton on the first game of the new season told us, we were in big trouble.

Is the book any good?

Take it at face value as a lighthearted look over the worst part of 30 years, then yes.
A good reminder of some of the shite that teams have dished up in that time.
