Are you suggesting that my memory of the score is wrong? Or are you cursing yours?

I just remember that this game was immediately after the big fight-back at Villa. It was Villa mid-week and Cov on the Saturday. Can't remember the sequence of the goals at Cov but I do know that we started a fight-back but then got stuffed.

If you do a search on ebay you will see that he has now put his old football boots up for auction.....

as well as his shoes, his slippers, sandals and wellies........

That Villa game was superb! One of the best I have been too.

i think it's probably one of the earliest games i can remember.

we were losing 2-0 then faught back to 2-2, ended 4-2 to them

if it's the game i am thinking of

Just for the Everton game Mike Galloway will always be a true Leicester legend. There's not many players that are worth having a testimonial for these days but if they announced one for him I'd try and go.

didn't he get Vinny Samways and Duncan Ferguson sent off in that game?

I can't remember Samways getting sent off, the highlight was Mike having a 'little chat' with Druncan every step of his way off the pitch after the red card

Put up The Boc Signal.

Samways, who also got Everton's second goal, was sent off before Ferguson if I remember correctly. I don't really remember why either of them were sent off, only what we have already been told about Galloway trying to provoke Ferguson on the way off. I think Everton were 2-0 up before we scored.

Just found the record of the game in the Everton (London Branch) encyclopedia. In their words, Vinway was sent off for "Stupidly kicking a Leicester player as 10 man Everton strive to hold onto 2-1 lead." Ferguson got his marching orders "on reputation".

From what I remember, both were justified red cards, I'm sure Ferguson had used his elbow? :102: But that could be another game.

Galloway will always be a legend for that one game. It's great how football does this. I hope that (if true) he gets all the support he needs, self-harm is a serious issue, and very much misunderstood.

Is that a confession LeeH? Hope not. Lisa of Hollyoaks had a similar problem if I recall correctly.

What makes it worse is that they beat themselves up about it. :icon_wink

(I would like to make it clear that I understand that self-harm is a serious issue)
