Sounds like a lack of communication. If he's coming for the ball then he should make sure he gets to the ball and make the defenders aware to leave it.

Ricardo made a complete ****ing mess of collecting the ball. That's as simple as it gets. Anyone who witnessed anything different must have been listening to Ian Stringer or similar.
