They have your info on cpu....saying you're a st-holder I guess.
I'm off to buy tickets for this at lunch along with Blackpool.

They are without purpose to any right thinking fan.

I am not going Pompey either, looking forward to the Blackpool game.
I don't believe in going to PSF's.
Can just about understand following them on a tour abroad or Scotland. But why would anyone want to go and watch them play Pompey on Saturday at our own bleeding ground, in a totally meaningless match?
Only one I've gone to was Barcelona (to see Ronald & Co) and I wished I hadn't bothered afterwards. They are soooo boring and uninspiring. Should be left to be played behind closed doors.
Has anyone ever actually enjoyed a PSF - if so when and why?
Please don't say it's about seeing new players/managers etc. That is what the first proper game of the season is for! Surely if you go on Saturday to see us amble around against Pompey, your enjoyment of the Blackpool game/day is diminished? You can tell feck all from them too. They are without purpose to any right thinking fan.
Fans get to see new players, formations, so should increase expectation for first match.
New players get to see/feel atmosphere of new fans therefore can reduce the pressure/tension of first home match to perform.

Yes, Hinkley last season, mainly due to listening to there manager rant " whats the $%^ point running down the £$% wing if you dont £$% pass the £$$%^ ball at the £$%^ end"
Exactly - the ''showpiece'' friendly has a slight respectablity about it. I am simply going because I have feck all to do.
ST's don't get a discount (think seats were reserved but deadline now passed), its £10 though
I'm (probably) going because I need a footy fix, simple as that.
Well if your a true fan dediction and passion comes into into, well for me it does. Hoping to not miss a game this season, doing brill so far
Anyway Pompey are a prem side, so should be a good game.
