Thousands would say that it already has - for them.

Yeh I suppose you are right - but it's never had any effect on attendances. Because the fanbase has simply evolve into one of mostly middle-class families (I'd even I say I'd apply there) and then I think we are at a point where middle class teenagers are spending some income on football. As along as it maintains the current price, the fans are there.

Does seem strange that when I'd go down Filbert Street - kids from Braunstone and New Parks would go. You ask a young lad now walking down to the Walkers where he's from and he'd probably reply some suburb of Loughborough. You only have to look at Foxestalk :icon_lol:.

Does anyone know if we buy tickets on the day is that going to be a pay on the turnstile situation or are we going to have to que for 40 mins to get into the ticket office?

The Walkers Stadium turnstiles are not equipped for cash payments. There is however no need to queue at the main ticket office - the queues at the satellite offices at the corners of the ground are invariably shorter and you will be served there in a few minutes. Alternatively, contact the ticket office in the morning, arrange the purchase of your tickets and collect them from the caravan next to the ticket office.

Does anybody go to reserves' games? Do the turnstiles take cash for those games, despite the fact that I am always being told that they are not equipped for cash payments?

Didn't you once (or twice) say that your family hadn't got a credit card between them? That's not very middle-class.

Reserve games havent ever been played at the walkers that i can remember.

Incorrect. The first season it was open there were reserve games there. ;)

Was that when ST holders could still get into reserve matches free? How did they manage cash customers at these matches, Tom?

Couldn't tell you if season ticket holders got in for free or not, really not sure about that.

We had to pay at the turnstiles to get in. £2 I think it was.

I'd say my Dad earns a middle-class salary but we don't have middle-class luxuries. I am the only one in the family with a VISA card now (since getting a job in May) - I wouldn't say I am on a middle-class wage.

There's a lot more to being middle-class than the amount of money you earn.
