And Maybury was playing out of position as well. May have performed marginally better if he was on his natural right side.
From what I can gather he's played worse on the Right

Maybury was average, Stearman and Hughes were poor. I'm not Hughes' biggest fan but I was pissed off with the reaction of a lot of the Kop when he was substituted. Ok he wasn't the best player on the pitch, but would Hume, Fryatt etc be given that kind of response? Would they bollocks.
so why play the twat when RK could have put Nissa there
If I was guessing, I'd say it's because Cov's next game is Derby, could be a long way off the mark with that guess thoughill put this here because i aint sure if it warrants a new thread but what was ian dowie doing there? did anyone else see him?
Sorry BG but I am unable to answer that as I am not Rob Kelly.
Maybe because Maybury is quicker than Nills and likes to get stuck in more.
Maybury was not excellent, but I cannot recall him doing anything that warrents his performance to be labeled shite, thought he made some excellent, strong tackles.

We had no threat down the right, Porter was under used and Jarrett should have gone off instead of Hughes.
We should have had a certain Penalty in the first half, both the 'pundits' on Sky said it was a clear Penalty and also Moore should have been sent off for a forearm smash on Hume...but Tiatto did a similar thing to Barnes to be fair. However it was a stonewall Penalty
And another after we had equalised, Moore was raping Fryatt and somehow got away with it. Disgusting!
Nils has not been playing bad on the left and thats not his position either. He is a better player than Maybury too
Nils has been my player of the seasonWell I don't fackin know then. If you have all the answer, why ask me? :icon_lol:
Second part is debatable, from when I have seen Nills, he has been pants, but not been to many games this season so cannot make a fair assessment of him.
Fryatt pulled Moore back before the incident though so that why the Ref never considered it,Fryatt's offence was first
Was at the other end of the ground to that so couldn't see everything. Although listening to the Radio driving back they said that we should have had two stonewall penalties, although it was Knob-Jockey Barber who said that!
One... the other Fryatt was clearly pulling DM's shirt.
