Maybury was average, Stearman and Hughes were poor. I'm not Hughes' biggest fan but I was pissed off with the reaction of a lot of the Kop when he was substituted. Ok he wasn't the best player on the pitch, but would Hume, Fryatt etc be given that kind of response? Would they bollocks.

Yeah the reaction was appalling, especially as at the start of the second half he had a few good touches and passes and IMO though that Jarrett should have been taken off ahead of him to allow Hughes to play in his natural central position, giving us a defensive player (Tiatto) and a more attacking player in the middle as opposed to having two players who more 'defensive' by trade.

Maybury was not excellent, but I cannot recall him doing anything that warrents his performance to be labeled shite, thought he made some excellent, strong tackles.

He had to make the tackles as he gave it away in the first place

We had no threat down the right, Porter was under used and Jarrett should have gone off instead of Hughes.

We should have had a certain Penalty in the first half,both the 'pundits' on Sky said it was a clear Penalty and also Moore should have been sent off for a forearm smash on Hume...but Tiatto did a similar thing to Barnes to be fair.However it was a stonewall Penalty

I saw it on Sky and I shouted for a Pen but when it was replayed it was clear Fryatt had pulled Moore's shit first.However the other one certainly was,moore not only pulled Kisnorbo back he then pushed him over for good measure
