We had no threat down the right, Porter was under used and Jarrett should have gone off instead of Hughes. ;)

But I doubt it Hughes would have been able to A) win the ball and then B) play a great ball to Fryatt like Jarrett did for the equaliser.

Incidentally, I did shout why are you taking Hughes off instead of Jarrett when the substitution was made! ;) :icon_lol:

Didn't think Jarrett was that bad today. But he's a very limited player.

Yes he didn't have a bad game, but if you look at our two centre midfielders today and then Derby's two, it is obvious why they are at the top whilst we are battling at the bottom. We need a creative player, I know its the old cliche but someone like Muzzy! ;)

Did our fullbacks get over the halfway line today, as i can't remember either stearman or maybury providing any service at all. They are so limited and with Porter and Hughes so poor today i'm surprised our forwards could be bothered to run, as there was no chance of them getting any decent ball.

I want 4 midfielders in the summer Mr Mandaric

To be honest Derby should have won, and would have done had they taken any of the easy chances we gifted them in the second half.

i was alot more pleased with the commitment today and i think it was a good point. higlight of the day though was seeing some kid waiting for an autograph mark yeates strolls over and the kid says i dont want you i want fryatt very funny stuff

Not bad today, but certainly not good. As I predicted they did seem a tad more motivated with the attention on them.

MOTM = Fryatt, changed the game completely. If he had been on from the start today, I'm fairly confident we would have won. But credit to RK for making the change early enough to have an impact

Derby = Not very good, we should be beating every single team in this league with the players we've got.

but still not 4-0

I thought Jarrett and Maybury had very good games compared to their usual standard. Stearman was shite.

Well played Matty Fryatt :038:

Stearman and Maybury were both shite

Maybury was not excellent, but I cannot recall him doing anything that warrents his performance to be labeled shite, thought he made some excellent, strong tackles.

Stearman was poor however, poor passing and control of the ball. Nothing at all like the Richard Stearman of last season. Hope he can sort himself out over the summer as he did look a really good prospect.

I agree there, I think Maybury was better than Stearman today.

Stearman was awful and if that performance had been from Maybury, who was just ok IMO,then he would be slated mercilessly on here.Maybury did a few misplaced passes but I didn't think he was that bad:102: We desperately need A right Winger

I'd agree with that

Maybury was average, Stearman and Hughes were poor. I'm not Hughes' biggest fan but I was pissed off with the reaction of a lot of the Kop when he was substituted. Ok he wasn't the best player on the pitch, but would Hume, Fryatt etc be given that kind of response? Would they bollocks.

And Maybury was playing out of position as well. May have performed marginally better if he was on his natural right side. :102:

TBH, I don't think Maybury's that finely tuned. Stick the cnut anyhwere and he'll play to his ability

Hughes was consistent though because he managed not to do anything right all the way up until he was subbed, donm't know if its a confidence thing or he's just not up to it,he didn't look like he even wanted the ball to me
