An interesting (and worrying from their point of view) statistic I heard the other day was that of the 18 man squad that Norwich put out against Crystal Palace last time out, not one of them had scored in the Premier League this season. I suspect that the team against us will be similar, so there is absolutely no excuse to not keep a clean sheet. We should also be putting a few goals passed them too.

It’s a shame that I’ll miss this one but as I’m going out NYE and will be having a few, I don’t want to risk driving on Saturday.

We'll have to score at least 19 to win then

Don't we specialise in conceding goals to players who haven't scored for years?

Kasper

Castagne
Ndidi
Amartey
Thomas

KDH
Tielemans
Maddison

Nacho
Lookman
Barnes

I could see us trying to protect 1 or 2 (Maddison, Tielemans, Thomas) but we have a little wee break after this.

Id be tempted to play Nelson, especially if he’s part of the plan over the next month.

Referee: Tony Harrington.
Assistants: Harry Lennard, Wade Smith.
Fourth official: Jonathan Moss.
VAR: Peter Bankes.
Assistant VAR: Ian Hussin.

Why do Norwich care anyway? Just lose the game as per and get promoted again next season?

Leicester City Football Club can confirm that the fixture at home to Norwich City on New Year’s Day has been postponed due to player availability in the visitors’ squad.

The Premier League Board confirmed the decision after meeting on Thursday 30 December, with the fixture, which was due to get underway at 3pm on Saturday, now to be rearranged after Norwich City confirmed it has an insufficient number of First Team players available to fulfil the match.

The Club regrets the inconvenience this may cause for supporters of both teams.

A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course on LCFC.com, with all previously purchased tickets to remain valid for the rearranged game.

Getting a bit silly now

Anyone that has any guidance on how to get tickets refunded would do me a wee favour by pointing me in the right direction.

Im going to assume my train tickets are a sunk cost? Anyone with experience suggest otherwise?

Thanks all.

Could be a blessing although it may also congest games later in the season. Gives players a chance to recuperate but let’s hope it doesn’t destroy momentum

Can’t work out if this is a good thing, given our current injury situation, or a bad thing, as it’s another game to fit in somewhere and if they’re short too then we might as well have played it. I think from our side of things we’d probably still have had enough to beat them so it’s probably a bad thing.

It’s a bad thing for my ****ing holiday, that much is certain.
