Wolves fell to a 2-0 defeat in their second game of the pre-season tour of Norway, this evening.

Two first-half headers from Bodo/Glimt's Stig Johansen secured the victory for the home side.

But, there was encouraging news for Wolves fans as Jo Lescott played the first 45 minutes without suffering a reaction - his first taste of competitive football since a double knee operation in May 2003.

George Ndah was forced to retire after half an hour, but with nothing more serious than a dead leg. The striker also missed all of last season with a knee injury.

The majority of Wolves' squad got a run out in the game, with Dave Jones making ten substitutions. Both trialists had a taste of the action. Matthew Booth was replaced by former Derby County centre half Youl Mawene on 26 minutes as the South African had to catch a flight back to Russia.

Wolves: Jones (Ikeme 45), Clyde (Lowe 66), Naylor (c), Booth (Mawene 26), Lescott (Craddock 45), Andrews (Ince 55), Clingan (O'Connor 55), Mulligan (Ganea 45), Ndah (Miller 31), Cooper (Kennedy 55), Gobern (Newton 45). Unused subs: Townsend, Flynn.
