Can't be me then. I'm not American and I don't have a gun.

Rather tellingly, you haven't made an adverse comment about the Christopher Biggins reference :icon_wink

In Group A:

fox58 v Blaby blue blood has finished. 58 decided to be awkward and named Niagara United and Binh Duong in his predictions. Wins for the Vietnamese outfit and York City contributed to a 38-34 win.

OldGit and Joe_Fox both picked Leeds, a popular choice this week. Joe_ also picked Yeovil, Shrewsbury and Bournemouth to help him towards a 59-27 win.

Orifice v Dour was a much closer affair, probably due in no small part to the fact they both picked Bournemouth and Shrewsbury. Despite getting nothing at all from his three Scottish picks, Orifice picks up a relatively narrow 46-37 win - Dour having picked six losers.

A massive score for pork pie fox, after he named Bournemouth, Leeds, Rotherham, Newport, Oxford and Rochdale among his picks. Poor old FOX Franks, despite only picking one loser, gets handed a 90-55 defeat.

RotherhamFox93 played it relatively safe but ended up on the wrong end of a 61-34 defeat after Bobbins picked Leeds, Bournemouth and Port Vale among his picks.

SJN-Fox scores from all but one of his picks against Dunmow Fox, who scored from only two of his. Among SJN's were Bradford, Yeovil and Oxford, while Dunmow's selection of York keeps some respectability to the score: 67-20.

No updates yet for Blaarev v Vulpine, because the latter has no-showed thus far. Neither for camberwell v foxybru, because one of them didn't read the rules. I'm not saying which, but it wasn't camberwell.

Nothing to tell so far between Macky and Doug or MUSSWELL_FOX and Xowie - a no-show in each match there as well.

Final scores and tables to be posted closer to midnight.

In Group B:

beaumontfox trails glyn 45-35 - but a win for CA Bastia at Lens tonight could turn it around.

As far as I know, cornishfox is a no-show for his match against Blue Maniac. Oh dear.

bocadillo leads Dunmow Fox Jr 41-38 - and he's still awaiting a result from tonight's Virtus Entella match in the Copa Italia.

Brown Nose put on a good show, but jas123 managed to include Newport, Leeds, Port Vale and Bournemouth in his picks on his way to an opening day 81-51 win - and he's still not the group's highest scorer.

That honour goes to DesertFox, who scored a massive 92 to Dorset's respectable 57.

GazLCFC's match with LCFC'sGodWears9 is completely one-sided - Gaz winning 71-23 after LCFCGW9 scores off only two of his picks.

give_us_a_wave fell to the narrowest defeat of the opening day - 57-56 to Jeff.

Han v Mawsley is yet to be scored, because one of them has picked a load of Colombian and Ecuadorian matches, the complete twatter.

jb5000 is so far a no-show in his match with spion :icon_conf spion looks certain to win, despite a horrible score.

And there's another no-show in the Mandy33 v Motown match... which is a shame, because the person who did show up had an absolute shocker.

As you know, I had a couple of late substitutions so that threw me out a bit in my pre-match preparation :icon_wink

FFS!!...ONE sodding point??? Story of my bastard life.So near & yet so far.All down to bloody Mansfield.Couldn't decide between them & Bradford so tossed a coin. That late Bradford equaliser meant I'd have strolled home :098: **** it.

Oh well...the magic of the cup in midweek.

Update: Han leads 42-11, pending the scores from one game in Colombia and two more in El Salvador, which could bring Mawsley another 37 points between them. Of course, they could also earn him nothing.
