For the record,I'd happily stump up a tenner at the start of a season if it went into a prize pool split between the league & the cup competitions.Or a tenner for the league & a fiver each for the cups.I'm not even doing very well but i do love a gamble.

On an unrelated note...Leatherhead v Harlow in the FA Trophy this weekend brought back a few misty eyed memories.The first being probably the first time I ever saw City on the telly & the 2nd being my first experience of the depths of utter humiliation & horror that football can bring.At the time I fondly imagined that the recent relegation from the First Division would be the worst thing I'd ever have to put up with.Talk about the naivete of youth.
