It's all explained in the Prediction League Sticky in this forum. Basically this Prediction League season ends at the end of October. At that time, the top slice of each of the current leagues will go into the Prediction Premier League, the middle slice will go into the Prediction Fizzy League and the bottom slice will go into the Prediction Chumps League.

There will then be three eleven-game seasons, taking us round to May 2008. This means that however well people are doing now and whichever League they find themselves in in November, they will still have a chance to be promoted to the Prediction Premier League for the finale season.

There will also be a Prediction Challenge Cup competition which will run on FA Cup weekends. This will start with a preliminary competition at the start of November and culminate with the Final on 5th April. More details nearer the time.
