Woohoo, better than last week. Nice work CF (apart from the bit that wasn't) :)

The correct commentary:

Week eight – all change (nearly that is). Desert Fox maintains top spot with an overall total of 268 points (he may have done better had he not forgot and missed the 12.45 kick off on Saturday), I was sure the reminder service would pay dividends one day! Fox58 maintains second spot with an overall total of 250 points.

Old Git moves up two places to third place and now has an overall total of 228 points, Pork Pie Fox drops down one place to fourth on 227 points. Motown Fox jumps up one place into fifth and now has 217 points.

The highest scorer this week is Fox58 with an impressive 47 points. Second highest goes to SJN-Fox with three less on 44 points. Blaarev is in the 40’s club with, well 40 strangely enough.

A few stats:
  • Total points scored this week is 724, quite a high scoring week considering some of the adverse or strange results (Man City 6 Newcastle 1, Arsenal 3 Man Utd 0, Chelsea 1 Southampton 3, to name but three. (last week it was 597).
  • Average points total therefore per predictor of 27.8 (last week it was 23.0).
Lowest scorer this week is Jeff on 15 points – a stinker, and very unusual.

Two predictors got three 10 point hauls this week – Blaarev and SJN-Fox.

No bonuses for 9 or 10 correct scores/results.

Overall of the 250 predictions received:
  • 73 predictions scored 0 points.
  • 75 predictions scored 1 point.
  • 25 predictions scored 3 points.
  • 26 predictions scored 4 points.
  • 28 predictions scored 5 points.
  • 33 predictions scored 10 points.
Highest climber this week is SJN-Fox moving up 7 places after moving up 4 places last week. and the biggest table drop goes to Jeff who dropped 8 places unsurprisingly after scoring 15 points this week (although I’m not going to labour the point as I only scored 17 points).

It's the dreaded International break this coming weekend, so I will leave sending out the fixtures for a fortnights time until next Monday.

If you would like to send them in early though they are at the bottom of this post, thus:

17/10/2015
Tottenham v Liverpool
Chelsea v Aston Villa
Crystal Palace v West Ham
Everton v Man Utd
Man City v Bournemouth
Southampton v Leicester
West Brom v Sunderland
Watford v Arsenal
18/10/2015
Newcastle v Norwich
19/10/2015
Swansea v Stoke

Good luck everyone, and sorry for the cock up - I added this weeks scores onto the wrong week - fool.
