5 points for a wholly correct result
3 points for correct goal difference
1 point for an otherwise correct result
In the case of a drawn game, you get the 3 points if you are only one goal out; only 1 point if you are two or more goals out.
Examples:
You predict the score will be 2-1:
You predict the score will be 2-2:
- If the score is 2-1, you get 5 points
- If the score is 1-0 or 3-2 or there is any other similar winning margin for the home team, you get 3 points
- If the home team wins by any other score, you get 1 point
- If the match finishes 1-1, 1-2 or in any other draw or away win, you get SFA
- If the score is 2-2, you get 5 points
- If the score is 1-1 or 3-3, you get 3 points
- If the score is 0-0, 4-4 or any other draw, you get 1 point
- If the match doesn't finish in a draw, you get SFA
I hope you're not going to tell me that I got your score wrong as well!
Cheers, thanks for that...TBH i don't check mine, i trust you (nearly) always get it right...and even if there's the odd error. i'm sure it evens itself up over the season!
I'm climbing the table, gonna try and get 20 points this weekend, which should consolidate me into the promotion frame!
