Reditch, this would have been considered to be a sensible and fair point, and it was! But it does just go to show what a great job NP had done! Well done Nige, now for stab at the Championship!

Milan always said that he would eventually get his manager appointment right - and that he would chop and change until he did so. As I have always said the only mistake he made was not staying true to his beliefs and holding off from chopping a bit quicker last season.

Given the right resources I can see NP doing a good job next season - he has certainly exceeded reasonable expectations in 2008/09 but based on what I've seen in the past - the 2nd tier is made up of quite physically stong and workmanlike sides who won't be a pushover at all.
