And then we can sell him on for £80m. He was POTY after all...
Sarcasm goes over your head too doesn't it?
Still anyone comparing Peter Reid today with Mahrez today really needs to have a chat with BN.
And then we can sell him on for £80m. He was POTY after all...
Clearly I need to post like a brain addled depressive moron in order to be liked.
It hasn't worked well for you so far.
Won't happen next season but....

"A ‘burning desire’ to play a round of Premier League matches abroad still exists – but do not expect it to happen any time soon.
That is the view of chairman Richard Scudamore, who also revealed that the top flight’s clubs are keen to take matches out of the country."

I'm glad the NFL plays in London, why should I begrudge our foreign fans the opportunity to see our boys in the flesh?

If all teams have a match overseas, they're equally disrupted.
The idea of a midweek fixture, between two weekend fixtures, being played in the far east is patently absurd, but a sensible solution could be possible, for example the NFL match the London games alongside rest weeks for the teams involved.

Indeed. Given that we have just played West Brom in Hong Kong, it's not too much of a leap to think that, were that game to have been played a couple of weeks later, it could have been a Premier League game. They could do it NHL style - play the first couple of games of the season abroad. That is already happening with friendlies - the only difference is that those pre-season games would be league games
I still think it's a terrible idea and it's our duty as football fans to resist it until the end but I think it can and will be done.
Please stop discussing it. It's a fecking disaster of an idea and I refuse to acknowledge that there are intelligent people giving it credence.
I'm not a protesting sort but this would be 'over my dead body'.
