Bit of an odd one. Hartlepool have brought most of their problems on themselves. They've pissed away money on overnight stops while forgetting what level they play at. one of their outstanding debts is to a laundrette who won't give the kit back. Surely if money is that short you can wash a kit yourselves ffs.

Money doesn't drip down the leagues as it should though, I agree with that. The tv money won't as the argument is it's earned by the teams people want to watch. The lack of players moving up the leagues within England is a bigger issue for me. Too many duffers signed from abroad when there's equally poor players in the English game who could've been bought. Would a league one/two player of Benny's ability cost us anywhere near what we paid for him? Nope, but by buying one we could have paid Hartlepool's away day bills for a week or two.
