Personally, I think Chelsea's problem is Enzoball. 'ze system' I think some called it last season. Similar to Pepball, it emphasises posession, territory and the press. Men committed forward. This is at the price of defence (hence the oft stated 'Man City cant defend' line) perhaps assuming that if you have the ball and/or are in the opponents half that you aren't going to have to defend. No league wins in 5 now
He has, most definitely. I didn't mean to suggest he hadn't.Maresca has made a huge difference to Chelsea.

Good manager Nuno. Spurs can get ****ed.Personally, I think Chelsea's problem is Enzoball. 'ze system' I think some called it last season. Sure, it looks good and gives the impression of control when on the attack but I'm not a fan. To me, it's a high risk strategy. I don't like it at all. A decent counter attacking side will rip it to shreds.
Fortunately, I think the tide is starting to turn on this style. I noticed 'school of Pep' Arteta's Arsenal opting for the old fashioned 'lob into the penalty area' and general see-what-happens mayhem (crowding the keeper etc). Yes, there are come-lately wannabes practicing the art in the lower leagues (with amusing results) but I think we are now finally seeing other styles winning over. I hope it's the shape of things to come.
I like Nuno btw. I thought what he did at Wolves was excellent. Sure, shite at Spurs but it's the club (or perhaps Levy) that is the problem there. What he's doing with Forest doesnt surprise me.
