No league wins in 5 now
Personally, I think Chelsea's problem is Enzoball. 'ze system' I think some called it last season. Similar to Pepball, it emphasises posession, territory and the press. Men committed forward. This is at the price of defence (hence the oft stated 'Man City cant defend' line) perhaps assuming that if you have the ball and/or are in the opponents half that you aren't going to have to defend.

Sure, it looks good and gives the impression of control when on the attack but I'm not a fan. To me, it's a high risk strategy. I don't like it at all. A decent counter attacking side will rip it to shreds.

Fortunately, I think the tide is starting to turn on this style. I noticed 'school of Pep' Arteta's Arsenal opting for the old fashioned 'lob into the penalty area' and general see-what-happens mayhem (crowding the keeper etc). Yes, there are come-lately wannabes practicing the art in the lower leagues (with amusing results) but I think we are now finally seeing other styles winning over. I hope it's the shape of things to come.

I like Nuno btw. I thought what he did at Wolves was excellent. Sure, shite at Spurs but it's the club (or perhaps Levy) that is the problem there. What he's doing with Forest doesnt surprise me.

Maresca has made a huge difference to Chelsea. All teams will have their blips, we did, but ultimately, Chelsea fans need their ****ing heads tumble dried if they can't see the difference between this season and their last few.

He has, most definitely. I didn't mean to suggest he hadn't.

I think he's done well from day 1. Much to everyone's surprise perhaps as many were predicting he'd by gone by Christmas. He's managed to turn a viper's nest of egos into something resembling a football team. I still don't like the style of football though. That was were I was coming from, just a personal preference thing.

Good manager Nuno. Spurs can get ****ed.

The reason this story is astonishing is the precedence it sets.

Change owner and any penalty the previous owner would have been responsible for can be substantially reduced.

So Aiyawatt could transfer ownership to another KP family member. Or Man City could switch owners between Saudi princes and effectively lose the 115 charges.

Football is ****ed.

Aren't the rules changing next year anyway?

I'm sure I've read they are scrapping points deductions and imposing financial sanctions instead.

I think him picking up an injury is our best hope of him not at least equalling the record.
