We are in the shit but it is not too late. Safety is not far off and we still have a game in hand...but I doubt Levein can get us safely over the finish line.

My biggest question mark over CL is that can he motivate the players? If is interviews are anything to go by then he could have a cure for insomnia.

We have a massive game coming up against Brighton soon, if we play like we did yesterday and show the same lack of passion, commitment and desire then by the end of that game we could well be cut adrift at the bottom, we need drastic action, we cannot afford to just drift along to obilivion !

I agree. We must start winning our home games. Draws will no longer be good enough to get us out of this mess.

......WE CAN'T HANDLE IT.The biggest problem for me his there appears to be no guts for the fight which is a big worry for the weeks ahead. Our efforts against other lowly teams this season have been appalling, and the only time we've looked half decent is when we've played games we expected to lose( sheff u, spurs ). Unless we show some fight WE ARE DOWN !!!!!!!!!!

spot on brauny couldnt have worded it better :038:

a 'Senior' midfielder may help, with connections to the club (not gonna suggest any names though). However why cant the player we have show that passion and commitment for the team? Maybe its time for the fans to get behind the team and shout at them a bit to show how much we really care for this club and show them that the passion and pride we show we want them to show to. May not work but it would help IMO.

CL is not the man to get us out of this IMO, as you know. If I was there Id be plastering the league table A1 size all over the dressing room to drill home the fact that we are in a sh*t position and unless something happens soon we will go down. We have the players to do it, we dont have the pride passion and commitment to the leicester city blue from the players.

There are few premier lge clubs like WBA who put their players on two tier contracts to safeguard the club against relegation. Maybe that wouldn't have been a bad idea here, it might have made them care a bit more if they thought they were going to lose some of their precious money.

or flipside and they might think that less money for nothing is better than more money for trying...either way they are in the cushy position when compared to the fans

Unfortunately going by our average that game in hand will at best result in 1 point!!!!

However you are right its not too late. Its got to the point where in a desperate attempt at clutching for straws I'm thinking at least this run is happening now and not in March, becuase then we'd be shafted. At least we have time to get out of it. Although the run could go on until March at this rate!!

Maybe theres a group of our players that think they are too good for league 1 and they'll get bailed out in the transfer market if the unthinkable happens.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the majority of players at this club would leave at the drop of a hat. We would be torn apart as a team and have to start again if relegated. I am sure of it.

And why should they be loyal? They are overpaid, and look down their noses at fans. We happily pay their salary and shout their names, while they take home ridiculous money for kicking a f*cking ball!

A sniff of anything better and they are off.:098:

I know it's in the future and perhaps unjust of me to question it, but if, by some miracle CL keeps us up this season, does anybody have any confidence left in him that we won't be back down here battling away next season? Or has he lost all confidence of the fans and players to an extent that this is where he would keep us as a team?

well if he keeps us up im not convinced that we wont be in a similar position next season but the board may give him a couple of months next season lets hope we find out

We are in such a mess it's untrue. Can't win a game, can barely pick up a point. We will finish bottom of the table this season - mark my words.

If by some miracle he does keep us up, there should be no doubt that he should be relieved of his duties upon the last kick of the season.

I agree, I think it is too far gone. I really don't see what is going to change, it's a bit of a catch 22, because if the players suddenly start playing to their full ability, or the manager suddenly pulls some attitude out of the hat then it would be great and might just save us, but I would question the professionalism of everyone if they aren't prepared to do it until we are in trouble.

I really wish I knew what the answer was

i didnt say he should stay a couple of months i think he should go at the end of the season regardless

I know honey, I'm just pissed off this morning

we should be used to this monday morning feeling almost immune to it in fact :icon_roll :icon_lol:

The answer is this. There is no point in sacking Levein now. I still have some faith that he knows what he is doing. With a fully fit squad we will start to pick the points up. There is no way we can go down, it is not an option. This lasted bad result will be the biggest kick up the arse the team will have had so far and will result in a high-octane performance in the next match - and 3 points.

Keep positive lads - conceding to relegation is not what us foxes are about - Foxes Never Quit.
