IMO whilst Mawene is a quality centre half, Claude Davis is the better of the partnership, he is immense, hope he has an off day on saturday !

I might be biased, but I consider them the best defensive partnership outside the Prem. Youl got just about every player of the year award last season. Thei season, Claude has been getting them all.

We snatched Youl righ fromt under the noses of Wolves! He was supposed to play in a pre-season friendly for Wolves. The management wondered why he didnt turn up, but it was cos he was at Deepdale signing a contract with us instead!

He actually played at Barnsley for us pre-last season.

We have quite a good 5-a-side team round here if you need a few extras.;) :icon_lol:

It might just come to that yet! Its a bloody miricle that we have got to 5th with all the injuries, a play off hang over and a shed load of players going to Leeds. No matter what happens now, we have had a good season.

i'm sure you are quite pleased with the result today!

It goes without saying that I am pleased with todays result as we are hoping to get home advantage in the play offs. After one or tw cmments, I get the impression we were slightly fortunate today. i expected a close game that would either be a draw or Leicester win. I just wish i could have been there today.

Claude has won just about all the player of the year awards. Last year, our other centre half, Youl Mawene won all the awards. I would consider them to be the best defensive partnership outside the Prem and good enough to make the step up.
