Problems?

Some people have reported problems with errors, and there have been a lot of double+ posts in the last day or so.

In the early hours of Monday I moved the site to a new server. This seems to have cured the occasional problems with slowness, but may have caused these other errors.


I have made a change that might have fixed it, but I can't be sure because I haven't experienced any of the problems others have had. So if you have any problems please reply to this thread with a description, including full details of any error messages.

I posted something a couple of days ago, and got a message saying something like “Oops, we ran into a problem”

Tried again after a while and a double post appeared - I just assumed I’d done something wrong and deleted the second post

Exactly the same thing was happening to me last night when replying to posts or trying to like a post.

I’m still seeing the odd “server error”. Refreshing the page seems to fix it.

I've moved the site back to the other server for the time being. Hopefully that will fix the problems.

This has crept back in again the last couple of days when replying to threads. Refreshing the page (Safari) usually shows most of what was typed in the comments box but not the whole post, if you know what I mean.
