PS3 vs 360

I have a wii as they are good fun. I will probably get a 360 when i get a HDTV.

The PS3 is a white elephant. Somebody set up www.wii60.com as you can buy both consoles cheaper than the PS3 and get a much better set up.

Good stuff - let me know your friend code and I'll add you. I don't use my wii a great deal as I'm still waiting for the big first party titles for it =/ I might be getting heatseeker when it comes out though.

our wii wont be here till may and my 360 gets here on the 5th of next month

I went on it for the first time ina while last night to show one of my mates and wii boxing in particular was hilarious, don't think I've ever laughed so much at a game - and quite tiring as well when you're not against a computer AI opponent.

They did supply 220,000 for the market so have not done badly. MS sold 70,000 at the 360 launch.

The test is once the hardcore or well off have bought it, will the sales dry up like they have in Japan.

it's not 50% share its around 25-30. The Wii is doing well anyway, I'm pretty positive it's the top seller of the 3 in Japan and it has done very well in America and respectably over here in Europe. Considering it's been out a over a year less than the 360 and has half the amount of sales worldwide that's not a bad return at all. I think the wii is really suffering at the moment from a bit of a game drought though.. nhot seen any AAA stellar titles yet which you might say is to be expected when it's only been out a few months. The PS3 has probably done better over here than anywhere else I'd expect but overall - had a pretty abysmal time of it - just goes to show people want a games machine to be a games machine, not a fridge.

The Wii has done well as it competitively priced and a different way to play. I know a lot of 360 owners who have bought Wii's. I don't know as many who have bought PS£.

Because it's been vastly more stocked than a X Box or a Wii who did it as part of a hype machine campaign. Come Xmas they will be a struggle on getting one with it's cheaper price.

Regardless of the console, itself they fecked up the date etc. and then rushed it plus carried on insisting with a high price.

Within 2 years, they will be equal in terms of money made to X Box, I reckon so anyway.

Does it really matter though? I have got my 360 and am happy with it although am expecting to conk in within the next 12 months. Its not as if Microsoft have got a good track record with 360 reliability.

I say fair play to Sony, least they have the balls to make a gamble in the market, if it pays off they will be laughing all the way to the bank and to be honest I wouldn't mind seeing this happen just to see what all the cocks that wank over the 360 and hate the PS3 have got to say if it happens, there's just no need for the anti PS3 and pro 360 thing (and vice versa).

We should all just have a Wii instead!

I have no problem against the PS£ apart from how much it costs

Playing the ferking wii he got to close to the tv and hit the screen playing boxing on wii sports although you can only see it with the telly truned off

I just started Excite Truck for Wii today and it's pretty excellent. Crisp graphics - a bit better than I expected to be honest and over all has a pretty arcadey feel to it.
