On the basis that the next decision could prove worse than the last decision, nobody would ever do anything in life. It’s called opportunity cost and could we really do much worse than Puel?
You missed the point of that post, BN said he doesn’t trust the owners to make the right decision

That’s simply not true. I’d much rather a comprehensive 3-0 defeat that sees him sacked on Sunday than a narrow one goal victory and he stays in the job for longer. Short term defeat for the long term gain of the club does not make me not a fan.
Actually it does, a fanatic never wants their team to lose for any reason

I suggest you go and look at the definition of the word fanatic then
Thanks but I don’t need to.

One loss is irrelevant to the long term success of th club of which I am a fan. I genuinely believe not sacking Claude Puel would be very detrimental.

I hope we lose as well because it’s not like we have anything to play for. Enough is enough.

I still find it staggering that a 5-0 defeat to relegation fodder on the back of a 17 match run of relegation form didn’t mean an immediate dismissal. I can only hope that there’s something in his contract that means it’ll be cheaper to dispose of him in the summer.

Sky Sports reporting today that Puel has been told directly by the owners that he has their backing.

They gave the same vote of confidence to Ranieri too.

That would be an absolute feckin' disaster, if true

Complete wankers

the question is, if they have done that, have they made it clear to the players so they know they need to stop being sulky little shits and do what they are extremely well paid to do?
