Slipping down towards that Relegation Trapdoor again and can anybody see where the next win is coming from?

No....I spoke to my Dad about it today. Have not seen us since Southend, even not going today, I expected a win against Gregory's shower of shite regardless of how awful I heard us play against Palace and Leeds.

We only play Plymouth who have 'nothing to play for' which is a nice away trip on Easter Monday and our players somewhat shirk the challenge against long-distance away sides. Cardiff, Southampton and Norwich to name two.

I can not understand the motivites of our current support, 24k against QPR, the players will get the message when 18k turn out. Shame the next game is against Derby, I'd love it for Kelly to be sacked after Stoke with someone like Taggs coming in for caretaking for Derby game. Soon fire the feckers up.

Not read it but I suppose the usual jargon came out........
like working it out on the training ground etc etc :081:

he's about as useful as a drink of water is to a drowning man

Too be honest, the fact that Kelly and a few of the players know they are in for the chop at the end of the season may explain alot of the performances

It was dire and I cant believe I drove 300 miles for that.

The second half was as bad as I have ever seen and Kelly didnt seem to be able to do anything to address it. His purchases have got him the team into this state and I dont see him having any future at the club. I can only imagine that Milan is waiting for the right man to be available before wielding the inevitable axe.

I did have a tenner on a very generous 10/3 qpr though....:icon_redf

Egg on face for me my fellow tb'rs :icon_redf, as you all know I have been saying all season long that we should stick by Kelly.

Well after watching that sh*t today and leaving the stadium before the final whistle (something I never do) I have changed my mind. Today was the worst home performance from a Leicester City team that I have ever witnessed.
We have a bunch of loan signings that Kelly has brought in that will feck off back to their own clubs at the end of the season not caring that we are in a dogfight at the bottom of the league, all they are interested in along with our own current playing staff is getting paid for wearing an LCFC shirt.

My dilema is if MM sacked Kelly tomorrow who would come in and shake up this lot? and would it be temporarily until the end of the season or is there really a manager available now that can carry us forward?

Kelly Post Match

The usual quotes are in there, but he sounds to me like he knows he's in for the chop, telling people what they want to hear and saying he warned the players about set peices etc i think is a last attempt to pass the blame a little and buy some time

"The fans have got every right to be disappointed.

"We let ourselves down and we have let our supporters down. When we win we win together and when we get beat we get beat together.

"We are where we are in the league because we are inconsistent.

"But we have got a two week break now and we will be working hard to put things right."

His post match quotes are much like the team he sends out. :icon_roll

I don't think there's any need for eggs on faces, we all have our views and TBH I've often found myself wondering if we should stick with Kelly until the end of the season.

But, no. Not in a million years. It's now not beyond reasoning that he could quite easily get us relegated.

I'm hoping MM is in fear of relegation, this may be the catalyst required to get a new guy in

We have now given Peter Tayor 3 points, Dennis Wise 1 point and John Gregory 3 points... It's a good job Micky Adams wasn't in charge of Coventry or we would have given them the points too...

imo it will be sooner rather than later
in fact it could be just around the corner

being a city fan unfortunatly losing is an occupational hazard, but what you can't accept is the lack of effort by the players or the couldn't care less attitude from some of them.

the buck must stop with the manager and RK is a nice bloke and will probably accept that. if you look at how the seaon has panned out we have been inconsistant to say the least during the season we have had 3 occasions when we have strung a few unbeaten games together sept/oct 14 points from 8 games 10 points from 4 games around xmas and in Feb early march 12 points from 6 where RK was nominated for manager of the month. that's 36 points from 18 games. Each one of these runs came after a poor run of form which highlights we have only taken 10 points from the remaining 20 games we have played. For some reason Rk appears to only be able to motivate his players only sporadiclly.

nice bloke

the two words which have kept the arse out of a job centre. if i was a nice bloke and got away with being ridiculously inept at my job i'd probably be wetting my smug little pants all the time. i couldn't care less if he is sacked and ends up working at hinckley or somewhere, being a nice bloke does not mean you are a good manager, if it did i'd be in a very well paid job and alex ferguson would be crying into an angus burger

milan won't sack kelly before at least 6 games into next season imo

Looking at the time you posted this I hope that you are posting after a long night out with your judgement tarnished by alcohol!! :icon_wink

Never a penalty, the handball was outside the area

Just saw the championship and both penalties were bad decisions (ours was 100% outside the area and dubious whilst theres was at least in the area and there was contact).
