I think everbody is being too harsh and making judgements too quickly. You have to give shit players the opportunity to settle.

Like sewage in a sewage tank? :102:

Ollie on radio saying that the Fulop transfer is dead in the water. Sunderland want £3M

Noone with any brains will pay that so he must want to keep him. :102:

Excellent, he should be our Chairman then:

Listening to Sky,I think their goals came from crosses..wat a coincidence with 'Flapper' back between the posts

What a wonderful 2008. My eldest just threw up over our bed.... Fuk you tummy bugs and fuk you Foxes today. Depressed.

For those who went: Did we switch to a 4-3-3 when Howard came on, or 4-4-2 with Fryatt and Hume as our wide men? Also, who looked the better player, Howard or Hayles? I only ask this as I personally don't think H&H will work as effectively up front as one of the H's and Fryatt/Campbell.

Basic match report:

Hoof ball, Hoof Ball. Hoof ball!!!

Defensively we were useless and gave them 3 soft goals from crosses. Henderson clearly does not command his area and does not have the confidence of his team mates.

Howard and Hayles were a handful and will be good recruits i believe. Howard is very strong in the air and won loads of knock on's, Hayles was busy but a little slow to be honest.

However nothing will change until we can develop a new pattern of play that involves passing on the deck and incorporates the use of a genuine midfield. We can improve but need to leave the hoof ball alone and be more creative.

Hume goal was class and we missed at leaast 3 or 4 other gilt edged chances. But we only had ourselves to blame and did have a distinct lack of imagination with the ball.

We need another good midfielder and a genuine winger that can act as an outlet.

Fryatt and Hume became our widemen and kept swapping sides.

H&H might work with better service. Howard is going to become our main man and needs a nippy lad off him i reckon.

I really hope he has an alternative lined up somewhere, or at least has a few ideas. We really do need a keeper, before the next league game at least.

If Sunderland really want £3M for him it must mean he's going to play, surely. He's already said he'd like to have stayed with us, so forcing him to stay - which is effectively what theyre doing with that price tag - seems stupid if they then sit him on the bench the whole time.
