Leeds miss a late pen then score an own goal to trail Stoke and Soton get a last minute equaliser at Preston.

Noice.

That Leeds result feels significant.
They still carry a threat but its great to see them pegged back especially with the fact we have the opportunity to inflict further damage on them ourselves very soon. Stoke were good value for the win today. You sensed they were the better side but that Leeds might just nick it with that bit extra Prem quality they have in their ranks. Luckily they've also got Patrick Bamford and a crap defence

I wouldn't worry about it. You won't be seeing any cash though because the daft old ****er will almost certainly forget there is a game on and be found wandering around Aldi in just his shorts before the Police return him to his barge. Again.
I think our policemen are wonderful. It's just the ones that hang around football grounds that can be dicks.

And demonstrations.

And police stations.

And it was ASDA, not Aldi!

I think we have to play Hamza in the holding role against these. Winks needs protecting.

We only really have 4 fit midfielders at the moment - we don't seem to have any academy propects in that area either which means one of KDH or Winks has to play and I'd like to see them rested a wee bit (especially with both on 4 bookiings). I suppose Yunus could play in there at a push.

So I think it's something like:

Ricardo (also may need a breather)
Vesty
Coady
Justin

Choudhury
Casadei
KDH

Yunus
Mavididi
Vardy

With Fatawu or Mcateer replacing KDH and sliding Yunus inside at some point in second half.

  • This is the first league meeting between QPR and Leicester City since the final day of the 2014/15 Premier League season, a 5-1 win for the Foxes.
  • In the Championship, QPR and Leicester last met in the 2013/14 campaign, with the Foxes winning both games that season.
  • QPR have only won one of their last 20 home league matches (D4 L15), picking up just two points in their last 10 at Loftus Road (D2 L8).
  • Leicester have won their six away league games this season. Only four teams in the history of the top four tiers of English football have opened a season with seven away wins: Tottenham Hotspur in 1960/61 (first eight), Reading in 1985/86 (first seven), Chelsea in 2008/09 (first eight) and Manchester City in 2017/18 (first 10).
  • Leicester have won their last eight away league games in the second tier of English football (final two in 2013/14, first six in 2023/24). In second tier history, only Birmingham City in 1897 have won nine away games in a row at this level.

That was the game Cambiasso scored in an literally took a bow wasn’t it - party atmosphere as we were already safe.

There's a lot of complacency creeping into this forum...

and rightly so...

4 or 5 goal margin victory or the Enzo Out banner please.
