How f*ckin obvious was it that we were going to concede as soon as our best and most creative player on the night was substituted for: as someone as already put it 'Twatto'! A completely negative substitution like that just f*cks the whole balance of the team up and sends a negative message to the players that they are now expected to defend for the rest of the match. WHY????
And if Dublin took anymore time to think about where he wanted to put the ball, what angle to use, the right pace, the right trajectory, i could have gone a squeezed one out in the toilet and still come back to see him shoot......just drill it man!

Thing is Levein is that he has brought in these players from elsewhere this season and now because he's bought them he must justify that they are good enough. (Gilbert the expection) It was the same with Taylor. It's quite evident they are not. Levein is also showing little tactical brain, the Hearts fans told us 'yes 3rd in a shite league'.

Here's a poser for Craig
Why release a player such as Gillespie who is now at Sheff Utd doing a decent job and possibly took a massive pay cut to play and replace him with full-time waster Sylla?

If CL doesn't improve or remains in the job with the same attitude. There could be major rumblings in the City fans i.e. Last night's attendance, anyone up for a riot?

My guarantee, though I hope I live to have this next comment rubbed in my face...

If CL is here at the end of the season, we WILL be playing League 1 football next season. Fact

I hope they go too, but I cannot see us beating anybody this season, depending on how hammered I get on Xmas day I might "sleep through" the Millwall game, avoid the humiliation!! :icon_redf

Why did Sylla go into the wall for the first goal when he had no intention of stopping the ball. I was right behind the goal and it appeared that he opened his legs to let the ball through, Douglas had no chance. In fact I could see no reason for Sylla being on the field again, told that he was just as ineffective at Burnley as well. Thought initially Kisnorbo might make a good holding midfielder but begining to change my mind quickly as he can't pass a ball accurately more than 5 yds. especially if it means passing it forward. Agree with you completly that the substitutions were negative and invited them to attack us in the last 15min. Why we just didn't keep attacking them I don't know because they couldn't handle Smith and chances were being created, ask Dublin about them.

Why cant we try to pacy stiker together, i.e Hammond and Hume? Wigan are doing brilliantly playing this way. Why do you insist on playing a "big" man and a pacy Striker?

Are you suggesting we drop our top goal scorer? For two players which have scored 2 goals between them all season?! madness

There's something very deeply annoying about use the big the word 'Fact' against a statement which is permistic at worst. And utter rubbish at best.

Lets look at the positives from last night. We played good football for most of the game, and even when Watford had all 11 men on the pitch, we outplayed them. There were some good individual performances and we scored two goals (two more than I thought we would). I came out of the ground angry at the substitutions, but that was because we threw away two points that we cannot afford. Overall, after my anger had subsided, I felt reasonably positive because we had played well. That was much better than after the Burnley home game, when I felt positively suicidal.
We are not playing the one dimensional football that so characterised the reign of MA, so lets give CL more time to get his new team playing the type of football we all want to watch. I would ask CL one simple question "If it aint broke, why try to mend it?"

OK, remove the word fact from the sentence, I still think it's gonna happen. Based on the past few performances I do not see us being able to beat a team.

How much fecking time do we give him?! Boothroyd at Watford has had less time than CL and is doing a great job! CL has had long enough, he has had this team since the summer so all this about giving the team time to gel is b*llox.

Our "top goalscorer" has 6 league goals, they were all scored in four games! He's no better or worse than Hammond on the pitch, he looked slow and second to the ball every time last night. Smith kept putting through balls through that MDV just couldn't read and those he did he didn't have the pace to react to them.
Put Hume up front give the lad a chance. Maybe even try a youth with him, I wont go on about TW cos everyone seems to hate him, but Chris O'Grady is doing well and hasn't been given a chance. Drop MDV, we do not need a big man, he doesnt do a big mans job. Aside from being slow, he cannot place a header and he is as weak as a fart.

CL has had long enough

What good will it do changing the manager now?

The majority of the most successful managers have taken a few years to get their team playing the way they want. The likes of Ferguson, Curbishley, W*rnock, Coppell would have been sacked from their current jobs before having any success if the fans had had their way!.
Changing the manager every year doesn't help, we've got to let the young players we have now develop as a team, I'm sure they'll get better.

So we get rid of CL! Who are you realistically going to bring in? How long will that person have to turn it around? Where's the money going to come from for new players? (Some of you obviously think the bunch we have are not upto the task).:102:

Don't know what makes you think O'Grady is doing well, he's scored three goals in eighteen games this season, playing two divisions below ours.

I'm not so much concerned as to what good changing the manager will do, I'm more concerned about how much damage keeping the current one will do us. In all honesty can you see us beating many teams?

I think the players we have could be great, I'm just not confident CL is a good enough man manager to get the best from them
