Nine million pounds a year would allow MA to build a team that can stay in the premiure, staying in division one means no money.

Like I have said many time before, get real. dont hope

I would obviously like a quicj fix to gain promotion again, but with players that have some quality and life in them. This re-building doesn't mean we will buy fiftenn 11 year olds and wait 10 years for them to develop, what we mean by re-building is get a team that isn't just pieced together to make up the numbers. It's not hard to understand, some people are getting confused.

If a quick fix promotion is so easy why doesn't everyone do it?!

Haven't we already had this thread. Quick fix everytime.

I'll abstain from voting but say my piece anyway.
Yes, the premiership is the place to be, yes I'd like City to be there as soon as possible. But quick fix, no thanks.
MA built a reputation in the lower leagues as a man who can get a team to play football. Due to circumstances at the club he has not really been able to fully nurture his talents.
Personally I was getting peeved off at the number of times that when Walks had the ball in his hands everyone ran to the half way line. Sometimes it was like watching kids football (no direspect to kids football!). 20 players around the centre circle waiting for the ball.
Against Pompey, the first 15 minutes we were actually playing it out from the back, then reverted to type!
What I say is lets have a proper constructed plan. Get back in the premier with a team that looks like it could stay there. If this takes a couple of years, then so be it. But lets play football
