Maybe the club is taking too much flak for this, we could be on the verge of 6 mill sale and all you lot do is criticise.

Barcelona may well be interested in Rab, until otherwise is proven, we must never criticise the fine business brains we have in charge of our club.

I'm excited by the prospect of such a needy cash input. Just think of all the nice shiny cars that will be parked outside the Walkers in a month or two, also excited by potentially being able to sit in even more comfy West Stand seats on open day

One of the funniest posts of the year, fact.

Don't see what the big issue is here as Rab has not played all season and with the form that Logan and Henderson are showing he is not likely to play in the near the future and there are no reserve games so he might as well be enjoying himself in Spain rather than sulking at the Walkers which is no good for our youngsters to see.

Thtas crap, he should be training every day, harder and harder making a name for himself so that when the time comes he is fully prepared to be called up. what happens when conrad and hendo get injured.

'oh yea boss ill get the next flight back but ive had a fair few pinacoladas so i might be a bit iffy for the first game or so'

if we let every player who doesn't play swan off on holiday wed have 11 players.

the more i think about it the more it seems letting rab go off on his hols half way through the season is more of a bad influence on the young lads than anything else.

I took into consideration about Hendo and Logan both getting injured before I posted but thought the chances of both of them being injured at the same time is fairly low (forgetting the scenario with Chelsea against Reading) and IMO I don't think Rab will ever play for us again and will just see out his contract sitting on his fat a**e although I agree with you he should be training hard and be setting a good example to the youg lads but just can't see it if I'm honest.

Maybe they are just sending him a message - like "you are not needed here". They are probably hoping he has got something about him, wants to save his dying career and will get of his arse and go look for a club. It is the only way we will get his wages (or at least part of them) off our cost line!

Agree with what your saying although Kiraly is the third choice keeper at Aston Villa after Sorensen and Stuart Taylor.

i was hoping his contract wouldve been paid up and that he is now recupperating in barcelona :)

Players are allowed to be given a break now and again.

But in Rab's case, he doesn't need a rest! It usually happens when a player's been involved week-in week-out. Or has family/personal problems.
