hmmm

how do i get Radio 1 on my iPod?

you can play the shows after they air, is there a streaming to mp3 program anyone has used?

i could try and search for the shows on the news groups, but why anyone would religiously post the Essential Mixes etc....doubt they would

Can't you get the podcasts from the BBC website?
 
You can capture live radio broadcasts. Let me do some digging i used to use a program but i can't remember what it is right now.
 
Is there anyway I can get the Shipping Forecast downloaded so that I can listen to it later ?
