I'm usually pretty liberal about this sort of thing but this has turned my stomach. This bastard should never have been able to see freedom again:

How can a journalist/editor make such a hash of such an important paragraph?

“ROTL is considered for offenders towards the end of their sentence, taking into account their individual resettlement needs. It helps build and maintain family ties, which is proven to help re-offending“

Far too good for him, a lifetime of being locked up with the rest of them and the eventual guilt and remorse is far more fitting

Correct. I cannot imagine them ever letting Ian Huntley walk free in a similar way. I can't see much of a difference between their crimes.

As someone that grew up in that area at that time, I don't give a feck whether anyone in the justice system thinks he's rehabilitated. Some things are beyond remorse and a prison sentence. He should rot in prison until his dying day and I'd be surprised if 90%+ people didn't agree.

Allowing him out with a view to release is a shameful decision.

Now I know the world's gone fecking mad

Found Swansea to be a better place, but that's not the point in this turd polishing exercise. Sunderland is beyond grim and not even a city (really shouldn't be), it's got the status on the basis of having enough Greggs outlets and some ridiculous land grab which included taking a refuse site in Gateshead to look big. Stoke shouldn't even exist...no point whatsoever. Paisleys probably in Scotland or something, isn't it just a bit of Glasgow?

I’ve not been to Swansea, but I’ve been to the rest. Paisley was the worst, comfortably.
