In all seriousness, anyone know what Ranieri's record is when it starts to go tits up at a club? Does he have a record which includes turning declining fortunes around?
I genuinely don't know.
The owners will never sack Ranieri. He would only leave by mutual consent of his own initiation.
If this happened, the obvious choice out there at the moment would be Roberto Mancini. Fits the bill perfectly for where we are and what the owners want.
But, as I say, could only happen if Ranieri himself thought better off out of it and opted out.
