Imo that is a disgrace. Surely you shouldnt have to pay a penny more:102:its not the bloody fans fault that the game wasnt completed. The fans will already be out of pocket by having to travel again.

I kind of agree with you on this,

I don't think any city fans would mind paying £5 if a large donation was made to a related charity. Somehow it doesn't seem right that the management of both teams have decided they couldn't continue with the game and now the fans will have to pay £5.

I'm sure it was the right decision to stop the game, but it wasn't as if it was physically impossible to continue. I'm not sure where they would stand legally on this.

It would be nice to see a donation made and a few collection tin shakers being allowed on the concourse.

The legality issue has nothing to do with this. I'm sure the league authorities would have been contacted before the game was called off.

As for charging the fans, they have done the right thing. It's not fair for a business (Nottingham Forest on this occasion) to lose out finacially because of this unfortunate chain of events. What happened to Clive was awful, but in life business must go on. They would have had a full staff bill and police bill to pay, and they will have a similar bill in 2 weeks time. IMO the new prices represents a fair deal, to both sets of fans.

Well we get 50% of any takings so it's not all going to forest :)

:038::038:

I was in the part of the ground that was closest to the 'hardcore' forest fans. And the scenes at the end with coins being thrown were awful. This is a good move IMO.

It looks as if blocks Y & Z will be sealed off, meaning just over half of the lower tier will be available to away fans along with the whole upper tier.

There is also talk on another site, that we may be held back for 10 minutes after the final whistle.

not done it yet going wed morning ,ill let you know i was saying we sat in block W which by the sounds of things i wont have too move ;)

I think you will have another ticket. I can't see them sorting through 5000 + tickets to get you the like for like seat.

As I will be away on holiday for the rematch, I have two stubs that I will not be needing. In addition, I have two Fox Travel tickets (don't know if you need these to get the free travel). If anyone would like either or all of these please pm me and I will make arrangements to get them to you. 1st come, 1st served.

It's a cup match, the costs/profits from the match are shared. So if the second match was free, LCFC would have to pay half the costs of staging it.

Just to state that i'm not going to the game so its not a case of me being on my high horse about forking out extra. I would be interested to know if this as happened before though:102:, because in previously abandoned games i've always retained the ticket stub and awaited the re-arranged game without ever being asked to pay again.

Reading away, 2003. We had to pay again, but it was reduced prices.

The original match was already at a cheaper price than F!"£$t would normally charge for admission to matches. It's hard to see how they could stage two games without charging something further for the second. I think the decision to charge just a fiver to people who were at the first match should be welcomed.

I am more than happy to pay a fiver, was suprised the Foxes Travel was free, nice gesture.
